corporate and organizational giving

Dallas CASA continually works to develop partnerships with local corporations. The generosity of our corporate partners allows for the recruitment, training and support of nearly 500 court-appointed advocate volunteers. Whether monetary or in-kind, your support will truly make a difference in the life of an abused child.

There are many ways to help. Consider becoming a title or table sponsor for one of our annual fundraising events. Provide underwriting for a year's printing needs. Or let us tailor a specific program to your company's budget and philanthropic needs. We welcome the opportunity to discuss potential sponsorship opportunities.

30th Anniversary Campaign Sponsorship
In 2010, Dallas CASA will celebrate its 30th anniversary serving abused and neglected children in Dallas County. Since 1980, we have advocated for the best of our community's most vulnerable children. Today, we build upon the efforts of volunteers, donors, board members and staff who founded the organization and helped it grow. We strive to help every child who needs a CASA volunteer. Currently, Dallas CASA serves only one third of the abused children in protective care. Our 30th anniversary provides the opportunity to build organizational capacity and position Dallas CASA to serve more children.

Co-chairs for the 30th anniversary, Paul Coggins, Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP, and Madeleine Johnson, Southwest Airlines, will lead our organization and local civic leaders to build community awareness about child abuse in Dallas County, while strengthening our position to ensure that all Dallas County children live in safe, permanent homes.

Parade of Playhouses Sponsorship
Parade of Playhouses is an annual event benefiting Dallas CASA. Each year, generous corporate partners design and build one-of-a-kind children's playhouses. The playhouses are displayed during August at NorthPark Center, Dallas. Raffle tickets for a chance to win a playhouse are sold to NorthPark visitors. More than 1,000,000 people visit NorthPark during the 17-day event and more than 600 volunteers sell raffle tickets. All proceeds from the raffle ticket sales provide crucial funding to Dallas CASA. In addition to raising critical funds, this event brings the plight of child abuse to the forefront of public attention.

Justice is Served Sponsorship
Justice is Served annually raises awareness of the plight of abused and neglected children by bringing together Dallas judges and lawyers to honor an individual whose efforts improve the lives of the most powerless and vulnerable members of our community.

The event highlights the advocacy of Dallas CASA volunteers and recognizes the contributions of our judges and the legal community in improving the lives of Dallas County's children. The hallmark of the dinner is the attendance of celebrity waiters – local, state and federal judges – who serve "just desserts" to the guests.

“As chairman of the National Commission on Children, I have observed judges in court with 10-15 minutes to decide whether a child should remain in a distressed family or placed in foster care…it's increasingly difficult for the courts and social workers to make the system work for families. This is why CASA volunteers are so essential. CASA deserves our deep admiration and support”
— U.S. Senator John D. Rockefeller, IV
